Overview
Kinari Bazaar is a traditional market behind Agra's Jama Masjid, its narrow lanes packed with shops selling marble inlay crafts, leather goods, spices, textiles, and jewelry. You can buy marble souvenirs made with the same pietra dura technique used in the Taj Mahal, and many shops sell petha, Agra's signature sweet. Crowded but vibrant, it offers a taste of local Agra life. Free to enter. About 10 minutes on foot from Agra Fort.
Opening Hours
Daily 10:00-21:00 (some shops closed on Sundays)
Travel Tips
Bargaining is essential — start at 40-60% of the asking price. When buying marble crafts, hold them up to light to distinguish genuine pieces from imitations.
