Overview
Completed in 1964, the Donauturm (Danube Tower) is Austria's tallest structure at 252m, located within Donaupark. The 150m indoor and 155m open-air observation decks offer views over Vienna, the Danube, and the Alps in the distance, and two revolving restaurants let visitors dine while taking in a full 360-degree panorama. Thrill-seekers can try the 40m exterior spiral slide down the tower's facade. Admission on-site about EUR 19.90 (about EUR 18 online), children 6-14 EUR 10.80. Take U1 to Alte Donau or Kaisermühlen-VIC, then walk through Donaupark.
