The Habsburgs' summer palace is a grand Baroque building with 1,441 rooms. Beloved by Empress Maria Theresa, it's where a six-year-old Mozart famously performed. Its French-style garden is one of Europe's finest, and the Gloriette overlook offers sweeping views of Vienna. Inside, the Hall of Mirrors, the Great Gallery, and the Million Room showcase opulent Rococo décor that conveys the splendor of the Habsburg era.

08:30-17:30 (until 18:30 in July-August, open year-round).

Travel Tips

The Grand Tour ticket lets you visit 40 rooms. The gardens are free, and you can enjoy a coffee with Vienna views at the Gloriette café.
