Overview
Dating back to the 16th century, the Naschmarkt is Vienna's biggest outdoor market, stretching about 1.5km with more than 120 stalls and restaurants. From fresh fruit, cheese, olives, and spices to traditional Austrian dishes, Turkish kebabs, Japanese sushi, and Indian curries, it's a global food paradise. On Saturdays, a flea market adds antiques and vintage finds. It's the best place to feel Vienna's multicultural vibe. Free entry. U-Bahn U4, Kettenbrückengasse station.
Opening Hours
Mon-Fri 06:00-19:30, Sat 06:00-18:00 (closed Sundays; Saturday flea market).
Travel Tips
Visit on Saturday morning to enjoy both the flea market and the food market. Arrive early, as it gets packed with locals around lunchtime. Don't miss the Austrian wine and cheese stalls.
