MASP is Brazil's premier art museum on Paulista Avenue and holds the most extensive European art collection in the Southern Hemisphere. Designed by Lina Bo Bardi, the building appears to float above eight red columns, making the architecture itself a work of art. The open plaza beneath the museum hosts antique markets and cultural events.

Travel Tips

Admission is free every Tuesday. Combine your visit with a stroll along Paulista Avenue, which becomes a pedestrian zone every Sunday.
