Overview
Parque do Povo (officially Parque Povo Mário Pimenta Camargo) is a 133,547 m² park in the heart of Itaim Bibi, São Paulo's premier financial district, reopened after a major 2008 renovation. It features a grass football field, skate park, jogging track, bike path, giant chess set, and outdoor gym equipment, offering a striking contrast of relaxation against a backdrop of skyscrapers. On Sunday and holiday mornings, the bike path connects all the way to Ibirapuera Park for a longer ride. Admission is free.
