Overview
Built as the main venue of the 1976 Summer Olympics, Montreal Olympic Stadium is crowned by the 175m Tour de Montréal - Guinness-listed as the world's tallest inclined tower at 45 degrees. A funicular climbs to the observation deck for panoramic views over east Montreal and the St. Lawrence River. Alongside, the Biodôme (recreating four ecosystems), Botanical Garden, and Insectarium form the 'Space for Life' cluster - a full day of sights. Tower admission CA$26.50. Pie-IX or Viau metro station.
