Overview
Created in 1818, this elegant park street in central Helsinki runs about 400m from Market Square to the Mannerheim statue. Originally a 19th-century bourgeois promenade, it's now a beloved local relaxation spot, lined with flagship stores of Finnish design icons like Marimekko, Iittala, Arabia, and Artek. The Espa stage in the park center hosts free outdoor concerts daily in summer, and a statue of Finnish poet Johan Ludvig Runeberg stands here. Free to wander. Multiple tram lines stop at Esplanadi.
Opening Hours

Travel Tips
