Overview
Used by Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family for 44 years from 1953 to 1997, HMY Britannia served on royal tours and state occasions worldwide. Now permanently moored at Leith and open as a museum, it reveals the surprisingly modest yet elegant royal quarters, from the Queen's bedroom to sailors' berths.
