Overview
This archipelago of 13 islands scatters across the Adriatic west of Dubrovnik, with only three — Koločep, Lopud, and Šipan — inhabited. With almost no cars, the islands offer a slow, quiet pace of life, and their clear waters are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Lopud's sandy beach is especially notable as one of the rare sandy shores in the Dubrovnik region. Most visitors join a popular 'Three Islands' boat tour departing from the Old Port, covering all three in a day. Tour about EUR 40-60. Boats depart from the Old Port.
