Dubrovnik

Dalmatia

Dubrovnik

두브로브니크

The walled 'Pearl of the Adriatic,' also famous as a Game of Thrones filming location. Stradun's marble-paved main street, the panoramic views from Mount Srd, and the secluded beaches of Lokrum Island offer varied experiences. Walking the city walls with the cobalt Adriatic shimmering below is unforgettable — the only city where you can enjoy medieval history and a Mediterranean resort at once.

Best Season

May-June and September-October are ideal. July and August are very crowded and hot. The Summer Festival brings outdoor performances.

Budget

Daily budget about KRW 100,000-220,000 (lodging 60,000-140,000, food 30,000-50,000, transport and entry 20,000-30,000).

Transport

About 30 minutes by Atlas shuttle bus from Dubrovnik Airport to the Old Town. Within the Old Town, movement is by foot only. Prepaid SIMs are available at the airport (A1, T-Mobile, etc., about EUR 7/week). Card payments are widely accepted (Croatia uses the euro since 2023). Tipping 10% at restaurants is standard.

Visa

Korean passport holders may enter the Schengen Area visa-free for 90 days.

Safety

Very safe overall, but watch for dehydration when walking the walls in summer. Always bring water and a hat.
