Overview
Founded in 1952, this was the world's first museum dedicated solely to naive art, showcasing original works by self-taught painters from peasant and working-class backgrounds. Works by painters from the Hlebine school, Croatia's most famous naive art movement, are especially notable for their vivid colors and depictions of simple rural life. Housed in a small Baroque palace right next to St. Mark's Church, it's an easy add-on visit. Admission about EUR 4.
