Overview
Built in the 13th century to defend the Upper Town, this tower has fired a cannon every day at noon since 1877. Originally a signal for the closing of city gates, the 'Grič cannon' is now one of Zagreb's most beloved traditions. The observation deck atop the tower offers panoramic views of the Lower Town and Sljeme Mountain. It stands right next to the upper station of the funicular (one of the world's shortest cable cars). Observation deck about EUR 3. 1-minute walk from the funicular's upper station.
Opening Hours

Travel Tips
