Overview
Opened in 1890 and running for over 130 years, this funicular is one of the world's shortest public transit lines — just 66 m long with a ride of about 64 seconds. It connects Ilica Street in the Lower Town to the Lotrščak Tower area in the Upper Town, and is known for operating without a major accident throughout its history. Though the distance is short (a 5-minute walk), riding it is one of Zagreb's quintessential little pleasures. About EUR 1 one-way.
