Overview
Completed in 1836, this is Hungary's second-largest church, a grand Neoclassical building designed by József Hild. Monumental Corinthian columns adorn the facade, and inside you'll find ceiling paintings by Marco Casagrande and altarpieces by Johann Lucas Kracker. Regular organ concerts in summer add a musical dimension. The steps in front offer a fine view of the Eger townscape. Free entry (organ concerts about HUF 2,000). 3-minute walk from Dobó István Square.
Opening Hours
Mon-Sat 09:00-17:00, Sun 13:00-17:00
