Overview
Built in the 1840s, this synagogue served Eger's once-vibrant Jewish community up until World War II. No longer used for worship, the building's classical exterior and detailing remain well preserved. Located on Kossuth Street near the Eger stream, it's a natural stop on a walk through town, and it stands as a quiet memorial to the Jewish community lost in the Holocaust. Free to view from outside.
