Overview
About 10km southeast of Eger, this small village is famous for its dazzling white limestone terraces, formed over centuries by mineral deposits from the thermal spring. Rising at 68°C from 400m underground, the sulfur- and mineral-rich water is said to benefit skin and joint conditions, and soaking in the hilltop outdoor pools comes with views over the surrounding vineyards. About 20 minutes by bus from central Eger. Admission about HUF 4,500-6,000 (EUR 12-16).
