Overview
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly Victoria Terminus), completed in 1888, is a Victorian Gothic railway station and UNESCO World Heritage Site — Mumbai's most splendid building. Designed over 10 years by British architect Frederick William Stevens, it features stained-glass windows, elaborate stone carvings, turrets, and domes. Still one of India's busiest stations with over 3 million daily commuters, it is especially spectacular when illuminated at night. Free (exterior viewing). Metro Line 1 CST Station.
