Overview
Marine Drive is a 3.6km C-shaped seafront promenade along the Arabian Sea in south Mumbai, serving as the city's favorite gathering spot. Art Deco buildings constructed in the 1920s line the boulevard, and at night the streetlights tracing the curve of the shore earned it the nickname 'Queen's Necklace.' Strolling along Marine Drive at sunset with the Arabian Sea stretching out before you is a highlight of any Mumbai visit. Free admission. A 3-minute walk from Marine Lines Station (Metro Line 1).
