Overview
Officially the Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount, Mount Mary Church was first established by Portuguese Jesuit missionaries in the 16th century and rebuilt in its current Gothic style in 1904, overlooking the Arabian Sea from a hilltop in Bandra. Its annual Bandra Fair (Mount Mary Feast) each September draws hundreds of thousands of pilgrims across faiths, making it one of Mumbai's largest religious festivals. Free entry.
