Overview
At 686 hectares, Chapultepec Park is Latin America's largest urban park - more than twice the size of New York's Central Park. Considered sacred since Aztec times, it's now Mexico City's beloved green retreat. Inside, you'll find Chapultepec Castle (former imperial palace), the National Anthropology Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Children's Museum, and a zoo - easily a full day of culture. On Sundays many museums are free, and street performers and family picnics fill the park. Free (individual museums extra). Metro Lines 1/7 Chapultepec station.
Opening Hours
