Completed in 1956, Torre Latinoamericana was Latin America's tallest building at the time - a 182m skyscraper that famously survived the magnitude 7.9 earthquake of 1957, becoming a symbol of earthquake-resistant design. The 44th-floor observation deck offers 360-degree views over the Zocalo, Palacio de Bellas Artes, and even Popocatepetl volcano on clear days. Sunset and nighttime visits reveal the city lit up in dazzling detail. Observation deck admission MXN 150. 2 minutes on foot from Metro Bellas Artes (Lines 2/8).
