Overview
Paseo de la Reforma is a roughly 12km boulevard commissioned in the 1860s by Emperor Maximilian, modeled after the Champs-Elysees, running from Chapultepec Park to the historic center. Landmark monuments like the Angel of Independence, the Columbus Monument, and the Diana the Huntress Fountain mark its roundabouts, with modern skyscrapers rising alongside historic statues. Every Sunday morning it closes to cars for the Ciclotón, opening the avenue to cyclists and joggers. Free. Reachable via the Reforma Metrobus line.
