Overview
An artificial lake northwest of Brno, built in the 1940s and now a beloved leisure spot for locals. Summer brings boat trips, lakeside swimming, and cycling and walking trails encircling the water. Restaurants and cafes line the shore, making it a popular weekend destination. In winter, ice skating is possible. Boat trip about CZK 100. Take Tram 1 to the Bystrc terminus and walk 10 minutes, or ride to the boat dock.
