Overview
Located beneath the 17th-century Capuchin Monastery, this crypt houses around 150 naturally mummified remains of monks and Brno aristocrats, preserved by a special ventilation system. Some still have clothing and skin intact after hundreds of years. The entrance greets visitors with the inscription 'As you are now, so once were we; as we are now, so shall you be.' Admission about CZK 100. 5-minute walk from Freedom Square.
