Overview
Opened in 1987 in the renovated Brandts Klædefabrik textile factory, this cultural complex carries on the legacy of what was once Denmark's only dedicated photography museum and now spans painting, photography, and contemporary art. The red-brick factory shell remains intact, giving the space an industrial-heritage feel, and it regularly hosts special exhibitions by Danish and international contemporary artists. The outdoor amphitheater hosts summer performances and events. Admission about DKK 120 (details may change). 5-minute walk from the city center.
Travel Tips
Check for summer events at the outdoor amphitheater. The photography exhibits are especially strong.
