Overview
Funen Village is an open-air museum that faithfully recreates an 18th- and 19th-century Danish countryside, with over 30 historic buildings including thatched farmhouses, windmills, and blacksmith shops. Staff in period costume demonstrate rural life, and the animal farm features native Danish livestock. It's a chance to step into the countryside Andersen wrote about, making it a meaningful companion to the Andersen Museum.
Opening Hours
10:00-17:00 (April-October; limited opening November-March).
