Overview
Laid out in 1720 by Johan Cornelius Krieger in the French Baroque style in front of Odense Palace, the garden was remodeled about a century later into an English-style garden with curving paths. Today it functions as a green urban retreat right in front of Odense Central Station. Equestrian statues of Frederick VII and Christian IX stand throughout the grounds, and the wide lawns and mature trees make for an ideal spot to stroll or picnic. Free to visit.
