Overview
Standing beside the Fisherman's Bastion, this Neo-Gothic church traces its roots to the 13th century and hosted several Hungarian royal coronations. Its roof, covered in vividly patterned Zsolnay majolica tiles, is a signature sight, while the interior glows with frescoes and stained glass. King Matthias I married here twice, giving the church its name. Admission about HUF 2,500; the bell tower viewpoint costs extra.
