Opened in 2002, Szimpla Kert is Budapest's first and most famous ruin bar, set in a repurposed abandoned building in the Jewish Quarter. Multiple floors house rooms with different themes, filled with vintage furniture, graffiti, and art installations. Daytime brings a Sunday farmers' market, while nights offer live music, DJ sets, and film screenings. A must-visit for Budapest nightlife.
