A beautiful capital split by the Danube into Buda and Pest, celebrated for its thermal baths and dazzling night views. The medieval architecture of the Buda Castle district, the ruin bars of Erzsébetváros, and Danube cruises to Szentendre offer a range of delights. The illuminated Parliament and Chain Bridge reflected in the river rank among Europe's finest night scenes, and a soak in thermal baths is a uniquely Budapest ritual.
