Overview
Originally a temporary structure for the 1896 millennial exhibition, it proved so popular it was rebuilt permanently in 1908. Its unique design recreates 21 iconic Hungarian buildings across Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles within one castle complex. The romantic lakeside setting makes it a favorite for wedding photos, and the lake becomes a skating rink in winter. Inside is the Hungarian Museum of Agriculture. Exterior free; museum admission about HUF 2,000.
