Aberdare National Park spans the Aberdare mountain range up to 4,000m in elevation, characterized by misty bamboo forests, alpine moorland, and several waterfalls. Elephants, black leopards, and buffalo inhabit the park, and it is famous for its unique treehouse lodges where guests can watch animals visit floodlit waterholes through the night. It offers a high-altitude jungle safari experience distinct from savanna game drives.
