Overview
Lake Nakuru National Park is a 188 sq km park in Kenya's Rift Valley centered on an alkaline lake. It was once famous for turning pink with millions of flamingos, and while numbers fluctuate with water levels, it remains a major bird habitat. The park is also one of Kenya's key rhino sanctuaries, home to both black and white rhinos, along with lions, giraffes, and buffalo.
