Overview
Designed in the 1930s by Croatia's greatest sculptor Ivan Meštrović as his own summer villa and studio, the building was donated to the state after his death and opened as a gallery. Surrounded by Mediterranean gardens, it displays around 200 sculptures and paintings in wood, marble, and bronze, showcasing the dynamic, emotive style Meštrović developed under Rodin's influence. The seaside garden terrace offers a peaceful spot to enjoy both the sculptures and Adriatic views. Admission about EUR 8. At the foot of Marjan Hill, 20-minute walk or short bus ride from the Riva.
