Overview
Located just outside the Silver Gate on the eastern side of Diocletian's Palace, this historic fish market runs every morning as Dalmatian fishermen sell the day's catch. Octopus, squid, prawns, and various fish gleam on beds of ice, accompanied by lively haggling and the scent of the sea. Small restaurants around the market serve freshly caught seafood at reasonable prices. Free entry. 1-minute walk from the Silver Gate.
