Overview
This circular hall served as the ceremonial entrance to Emperor Diocletian's palace, originally adorned with elaborate mosaics and statues for rituals deifying the emperor. Though the roof is now open to the sky, the domed walls create remarkable acoustics, making it a popular spot for local a cappella 'klapa' group performances. It also appeared in Game of Thrones, and sits along the path from the underground halls up to Peristyle Square. Free to visit. Right next to Peristyle Square.
