Overview
The Chefchaouen Blue Medina is an old quarter dating to the 15th century where every wall, staircase, door, and flowerpot is painted in shades ranging from sky blue to cobalt. The tradition began with the Jewish community, who considered blue a sacred heavenly color, and it gradually spread across the entire city. Each narrow alley has its own unique blue palette, turning every step into a photo opportunity.
