Overview
Designed by French painter Jacques Majorelle in 1923, the garden was bought and restored in 1980 by fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge. Buildings painted in vivid Majorelle Blue stand among more than 300 species of cacti, palms, and bougainvillea, creating an oasis in the heart of the desert city. The on-site Berber Museum showcases indigenous Moroccan art and culture, with the Yves Saint Laurent Museum next door.
