Overview
The Yves Saint Laurent Museum, opened in 2017 right next to Majorelle Garden, rotates selections from a collection of some 5,000 pieces - collections, sketches, and fabrics the designer produced between 1960 and 2008. Designed by Studio KO, the building's terracotta facade reinterprets traditional Marrakech brickwork in a modern idiom, while lattice windows echoing Berber patterns filter natural light inside. Saint Laurent, who first visited Marrakech in 1966, drew deep inspiration from the city's colors and light, and some of his ashes were scattered in the adjacent Majorelle Garden. Admission MAD 100. Right next to Majorelle Garden.
