Overview
Koppenbrüllerhöhle (Koppen Cave), the youngest of the three Dachstein show caves, lies about a 15-minute walk from the Koppenrast restaurant at the end of Obertraun village. The guided tour runs about 50 minutes; the cave stays cool year-round, so bring a jacket. For the 2026 season, it operates daily 1 May-27 September, with tours every 90 minutes. Admission adults EUR 18.90 online (EUR 19.30 at the desk), children about EUR 10.40-10.60. Take the train or drive to Obertraun from Hallstatt, then walk.
