Overview
The Hallstatt Skywalk is a triangular viewing platform on the Salzberg mountainside at the salt mine entrance, about 350m above the lake. It offers a bird's-eye panorama looking down on Lake Hallstatt and the entire village, with the Dachstein massif and surrounding Alps in view. It's included in the salt mine tour ticket and can also be reached with just a funicular ticket. Included in salt mine ticket (funicular + mine about EUR 40) or funicular only about EUR 20. About 3 minutes by funicular from the village.
Opening Hours
09:30-16:00 (until 18:00 May-September; closed November-March).
Travel Tips
It's most efficient combined with the salt mine tour. If time is short, a funicular-only ticket still gets you to the platform.
