Transport

About 45 minutes from Athens by domestic flight, or 5-8 hours by ferry. Get around the island by bus, rental car, or ATV. Prepaid SIMs are available at the airport (Cosmote, etc., about EUR 10/week). Card payments are accepted at tourist venues, but smaller shops may need cash. Tipping 5-10% at restaurants is standard.

Korean passport holders can enter the Schengen Area visa-free for up to 90 days.

Safety

Crime is very low, but take care on the clifftop paths. Summer UV is intense, so sun protection is essential.
